After 9/11 there was a long period of time where tweezers were not permitted on airplanes. My family and I had to give up some of the original tweezers my grandfather made by hand which was a big disappointment. I get asked from time to time if tweezers are now allowed back on and the answer to that question is yes. And for anyone else who is traveling soon, I was told just recently that disposable razors and their cartridges are as well. Though straight razors are only permitted in checked baggage.
